"And into the forest I go, to lose my mind, and find my soul..."

Haven't you ever felt a complete state of peace of mind when surrounded by nature?

It can be as simple as walking through a dense forest, laying over comfortable and warm sand, or even floating on the fresh water of a lake...

All those moments, even if brief, make you feel that inner peace that bring us relief from any opressing concern or thought.

But why? And how can we get this feeling only by being exposed to simple nature?

The answer is not that obvious though. Being in the middle of such a perfect beauty, makes us forget about our ego, the one that keeps reminding us our problems, our insecurities, and our fears... Our ego inside us becomes overshadowed by what it's outside. Sometimes in our routine, that environment doesn't feel that heartwarming so that's why we focus on ourselves, because what it's outside does not help finding ourselves and we get even more lost...

By being immersed in something much bigger than us, our biggest concerns, incertainities and problems relativize, become less signifcant, small and manageable... Our whole existence becomes ONE with the nature, the universe... We connect with the Earth dynamics , feeling a deep harmony that heals our souls from anything harming us... And from there, the search of our true self can begin. That indulging environment can be nature, but other places, social circles or communities...Sometimes we find this same relief by sharing a nice evening with some good friends that we haven't seen in a while, our family, or even during a good film or a religious event...

That's why, if you are going through a difficult situation, hard times, or you are experimenting any sort of anxiety feelings, maybe it'd be a nice idea to escape your daily routine for the weekend and arrange a little trip into the wilderness of nature...

Let yourself be surrounded by life and notice its beauty; this might be a successful way to find the answers and the inner peace we're all looking for!
